The Ahmet Ertegun Papers span the years 1920 to 2007, including undated materials, with the bulk of the material dating between 1970 and 2000. The collection is approximately 90 linear feet and consists of Ertegun’s address, appointment, and pass books; awards; events and travel files; biographical and educational information; clippings; correspondence; materials related to Ertegun’s death; family materials; legal documents; notes; photographs; audio and video recordings. The collection primarily documents the personal lives of Ahmet and Mica Ertegun, with some documentation of Atlantic Records, most significantly in the 1990s.

The Bitter End Records span the years 1967 to 2009, with the bulk of the records dating between 1970 and 1979. The collection provides insight into the management of the Bitter End nightclub, located in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York. Of most use to researchers will be the artist files, which provide a record of engagements played by numerous high profile artists and entertainers--many who began their career at the Bitter End--including Eric Anderson, Billy Crystal, Bob Dylan, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Andy Gibb, Allen Ginsberg, Etta James, Kris Kristofferson, Steve Martin, Curtis Mayfield, Phil Ochs, Frank Sinatra, and Neil Young. The artist files contain contracts, photographs, clippings, press releases, press kits, and other promotional items.

The Eva Jones Audiocassettes consist of five bootleg recordings of concerts that occurred from 1966 to 1978. Performers include Bob Dylan, the Band, Bruce Springsteen, and Stephen Stills with Neil Young. The collection is arranged alphabetically by artist.

The Ken Regan Photographs consist of 375 black-and-white images of a variety of musical performers and events from 1960 to 2002, with the bulk of the photographs dating from 1968 to 1986; including some undated material. The collection documents important music festivals: Woodstock, Amnesty International, Farm Aid, and Live Aid, as well as a number of artists from various musical genres.The collection offers insight into Regan's decades-long career and his relationships with his subjects. Seen in a broader context, the collection provides documentation of a number of rock and pop musicians who became popular during the late 1970s and into the 1980s.

The Manny and Skippy Gerard Collection spans the years 1967 to 1982, and includes some undated material. The Collection consists of approximately four hundred calendars, handbills, newsletters, and promotional cards from concerts in the San Francisco Bay area, with a few additional items from venues scattered across the country. Artists of note in the Collection include Big Brother and the Holding Company, Buffalo Springfield, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Deep Purple, Flamin' Groovies, The Grateful Dead, Humble Pie, Jefferson Airplane, Mamas and the Papas, Santana, and Ten Years After. This Collection provides rich documentation of the San Francisco Bay area music scene in the late-1960s and 1970s, and offers a look into the venues, performers, poster art styles, and culture of the era. The Collection is arranged alphabetically by venue; the arrangement continues chronologically within each file.
