Libraries Rock! Summer Reading Program: Home

Rockin' Through History

This research guide was created to complement a program we created--in conjunction with the Rock Hall's Education Department--to present to public libraries in support of the American Library Association's 2018 summer reading theme Libraries Rock. Throughout history, rock music and social movements have influenced each other in symbiotic ways. The different sections in this guide highlight some of the ways rock music has been gained inspiration from, intertwined itself in, and affected social change.
